In Loving Memory of Maisie
Maisie was with us from June 2014- October 2023. Maisie-Moo (as I affectionately called her) was my "Velcro" dog. She was my sister's dog, but over the course of 9 years, she also became a staple in my life.
Her favorite things to do were to play ball, chase squirrels, go for a car ride, and get the occasional "pupacino". She was so funny, affectionate and LOVED her squeaky toys.
Maisie was one of my soulmates on this life's journey, and I am so happy that her light shined in my life for as long as it did. Sadly, it took this event to make me realize how a dog can be a "someone", and it showed me how much she supported me emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Her absence will always be felt.
Here is the PSA: if you have an animal, take it for annual check-ups, and when you do, have them do bloodwork and x-rays. If your animal is showing ANY signs of different behavior that lasts over 2 days, take them to the veterinarian and have blood work and x-rays done. These precautions, along with providing your dog with the healthiest lifestyle possible, may help tragic events like what happened to Maisie not occur.
I love you, Maisie, always. Until we meet again,
XOXOXO-KP
