47 Simple Wellness Tips for the Body, Mind, and Soul- Kendra Pennington
A few weeks ago my sister Shelby had a biofeedback session with Rejuva Wellness in Midland, Texas. She was told to take organic food-grade DE as part of her treatment plan to cleanse her of the parasites and worms in her body. I was like well, I am going to do this too! I normally take a herbal combination called Wormwood as a parasite cleanse but it does not get rid of everything. I researched it and found a good read, click here, that recommended how to take it, how much to take if you are using it for yourself or your animals, side effects etc. The only suggestions that were not in the article that I found out through the owner of Rejuva Wellness is that DE should be taken at night and these types of cleanses should be done during the spring. I am doing it during the winter and I will do another herbal parasite cleanse during the spring. According to the article, you are supposed to take it on an empty stomach. So, I just arranged my night to where I was taking DE at an optimal time.
Hydration is another significant factor. Shelby was not told that the side effects could result in constipation and dryness of the eyes and mouth if she did not drink enough water. So when she came over to my house telling me of her symptoms I said, “didn’t you read the article I sent you?”. Her answer being no of course. So, it is important to remember to stay hydrated. I drank enough water just like the article said to and my body functioned properly in every way. When I went to see Dr. Jordan Beal, see my other article here, she said my small intestines were showing up again during my Applied Kinesiology (AK) treatment. She said that during cleanses that is normal to see. So, the week after the cleanse is done, I go to see her again for a tune-up. All in all, a lovely cleanse that has left me feeling fresh and energized.
